In Lisbon, Portugal this scene captures a moment on a mosaic tiled street, where a woman is walking down the steps past walls bursting with lively graffiti art.

In the northern Italian city of Bologna I approached this scene. A long, expansive stone staircase under a bright sky features two individuals, one sitting and appearing engrossed, the other lying down seemingly resting or sleeping, creating a scene of contrasting activity and repose.
