Yes, making the mundane seem interesting is a core principle of street photography, achieved by skillfully finding and capturing beauty, emotion, and narrative in candid, unstaged, everyday scenes.

Street photographers elevate ordinary situations by being present, observant, and anticipating "decisive moments," using composition, lighting, and timing to reveal the human stories and delightful randomness of urban life that are often overlooked.

Creating a narrative - I try to capture moments of human connection or subtle expressions to give the viewer a window into someone else's world.

When I’m looking at a scene and wondering if it can tell a story - a great street photo should make the viewer pause and ask questions about what is happening in the scene.

I sometimes focus on a theme such as city details and commuters. Always watching, observing and searching for the interesting amid the commonplace.
